They think that because Kwee King Yang was a master of many arts so that Black Flag Wing Chun is just a mix of these southern styles. For Kwee King Yang’s Kungfu style, those are true as mixed style, However, for my black flag wing chun, I was able to filter all of these other styles out.

So this is why, for example, Sifu Tio Tek Kwie, one of my sifu, mentioned to all his students that he was taught, by Kwee King Yang, Song Sui, Pa Kak, Jit Sip Kun, and Thai cho kun forms. However, these forms belong to the Five Ancestor Fist and other Kung Fu system, these does not belong the the original teaching of Tjia Fun Tjiao of Black Flag. It is very clear that what Sifu Tio taught contains a small part of Black Flag and primarily Ancestor fist for the rest.
